Can't Wait to See Everyone!
Do you believe it's been 5 years since our last reunion! A lot has changed since we last met... kids grew up, people got married, babies were born, we went through a pandemic and a few folks have passed. What hasn't changed is our love for our family and ancestors that came before us and shaped our lives and coming together to celebrate our connections is the perfect way to honor their memory!
Here's What's Going On!
Date & Time:
The Mogus Family Reunion will be held on Sunday, September 1, 2024 starting at 12:30 p.m.
Location:
The Reunion will be held at Croatian Center Picnic Grounds, Shuetzen Park Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15209 (Millvale). This is the same location as the last 2 reunions!
What will we do all day?
Of course, we will eat, but we will also share memories and will be asking everyone to complete a family tree that will be compiled with pictures and stories. We will also try to document a few video chats to preserve our family stories for generations to come!
Food & Beverages
Yes! We will have food! The meat and side dishes will be provided as they were in the past. Additionally, soft drinks & water will be provided, as well as, beer & wine.
What Can I Bring?
In the tradition of the Pittsburgh Cookie Table, we are asking that each family brings at least 2 dozen cookies to share on the dessert table. Additionally, if you would like a specific beer or other beverage, you are welcome to bring that, as well.
We would also love to see your pictures and momentos that you'd like to share! Do you have photos that have people you don't recognize? This is the place to do those IDs, so bring'em on!
Where is Everyone Staying?
We have family that lives in the 'burgh and those that have a quick drive over the OH border, but we also have quite a few folks coming from out of town. We do have a group rate at the Courtyard Pittsburgh University Center. We have a group rate of $169/night under "Labas- Mogus Family Reunion".

How Much Does it Cost?
Once we compile the costs, we will be asking for a "per family" contribution toward the expense of the event which includes food, water, soda, and facility rental.
